When using the abba Superbike Stand or Sky Lift on the BMW R1300GS Adventure a cosmetic frame cover needs to be removed from either side of the bike to gain access to the swing arm pivot, so the abba Stand/ SkyLift can be fitted. Removing the covers is very straight forward, simply unscrew the three small screws from the covers on either side.
The picture below shows the cover that needs to be removed from both sides of the bike, the arrows show the screw positions.
Once the covers are removed the Stand/Lift can be fitted in the normal way.
