The BMW K1200s/r stand is the same design and operates in the same way as the award winning "abba superbike stand". It has its own specially designed fitting kit for the k1200S/R (see above picture).
No more hassle working on the K1200 with no centre stand or struggling with the awkward, tedious and risky balancing act required to use a conventional paddock stand on your own. The abba Superbike Stand is a total one person operation sports bike stand that fits onto the swing-arm pivot of the motorcycle. The stand is fitted to the bike when the bike is leaning on its own prop stand, so you do NOT have to hold the bike up at any time while fitting the abba supebike stand unlike conventional paddock stands, the bike can then be lifted using the integral telescopic extension lever. Because the abba superbike stand picks up in the "centre" of the bike on the swing arm pivot it can be pivoted back and two wheels can be suspended off the ground at the same time, with the aid of your own prop/jack or the abba front lift (for more details on the abba front lift click here) when two wheels are lifted off the ground in this way this is totally off loading the shock and front suspension, the shock and linkage can be removed. The abba superbike stand enables much more work to be carried out on the machine than a conventional paddock stand.

Please note: This stand is designed only for the K1200s/r, therefore the conventional "abba superbike stand" cannot be adapted to fit the K1200 range. This Product is designed for the K1200s/r only therefor you might not be able to adapt this for another model in the future.
